Extensive portion within the second Sikh scripture Dasam Guru Durbar as written by the tenth Sikh Guru, Akali Nihang Guru Gobind Singh. It translates as the 'Wiles of women' and is known as 'Sansar Mai Abbek Dee Bani' which translates as 'Wordly Scripture of Ignorance'. Also termed 'Charitropakhyan'.

There are 404 stories documenting a rich diversity of mythological, historical and metaphorical tales that cover the interaction the sexes and the interplay of 'Dharam' (righteousness). The tales cover emotional aspects such as love, hate, desire, lust, sexuality, anger revenge, deceit, rage, sadness, etc.

Sanatan (traditional) Sikhs consider this an essential part of understanding humanity and the world at large - its dangers, pitfalls and rewards. However, modern mainstream Sikh scholars shun this portion of Dasam Guru Durbar and it frequently comes up in many debates - as such, it remains a mystery to most Sikhs.
